All rides require a credit card deposit equal to the value of one person. For example the 1 ½ Hour ride requires a $60 deposit and the ½ Day requires a $120 deposit. Deposits will be transferable for bad weather and if you cancel your ride the day before, if you do not show up or notify us the day before your ride the deposit becomes non-refundable. Our 1½ Hour Trail Ride at Colbert ranch is a wonderful way to experience great horses and the hill country! Guests arrive to saddled horses and head out on the trail after a safety overview with their horse. 2 person minimum. $60/personMost Trail rides leave at 10AM and 1PM Monday-Saturday and 11AM Sunday. Rides will start promptly at scheduled time, if you are late it will cut into your ride time. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your ride begins.
The half-day ranch experience is truly a fun and educational experience! When guests arrive they participate in a horse “introduction” where folks meet their horses and become involved with grooming and saddling. After a short lesson in the round pen it is time to hit the trail, stop for lunch at our beautiful picnic area on the river, ride for another hour, come back to the barn and turn the horses out to pasture. After the ½ day ride you are sure to have earned your keep at Colbert Ranch. 2 person minimum. ½ Day Ranch Experience $120/person ½ Day Ranch Experience w/ BBQ $130/person Most ½ Day Ranch Experiences leave 10:00 AM Monday-Sunday Rides will start promptly at scheduled time, if you are late it will cut into your ride time. While your group (4 or more) is riding, we are happy to provide care for children under 7 who are too young to trail ride. We offer the children pony rides in an arena and lessons on how to care for the horses. We can also take walks to the pond to feed the ducks and provide all kinds of other ranch fun. 1 ½ hour Buckaroo $60/child ½ Day Ranch Experience $120/child
